HOLY CHILD COLLEGES OF BUTUAN HOSPITAL COMPANY is a private health care facility founded on January 28, 2008. It upholds compassionate quality health care. One of its goals is to provide specialized services for children, women, and the aged, hence the Main 5-storey building shall be a general hospital in the future and there shall be separate building for specialized services for children. Women and the aged equipped with state-of-the-art health facilities manned by specialist with the heart. It shall also be a center for training for different specializations.
HCCB Hospital envisions to be a leading medical center in the Caraga Region; it does not complete with existing hospitals, but serves the regional health concerns and needs. In due time, HCCB Hospital shall be a teaching and research hospital.
HCCB Hospital is the laboratory of the college of Nursing & Health Sciences and in the future the College of medicine. The Institute of Behavioral Medicine Counseling Home in Psychotherapy, the HCCB New wine counseling Home and the st. Peter’s Counseling Home Davao City are some of the special features.
Today, HCCB Hospital is equipped with a tertiary clinical laboratory facilities, state-of-the-art Radiology Department, an emergency room, operating room, labor room, delivery room, recovery room, isolation room, children’s ward private rooms, suite rooms, prayer room, comfortable doctors’ quarters where privacy is maintained, and the state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit equipped “pipe-in” oxygen supply and with modern facilities, the waiting areas are spacious and customer-friendly.
The Level 3 Clinical laboratory facilities provide 24-hour service for clients with the following services: Micro-biology, Hematology, Immuno-hematology, clinical Chemistry, clinical Microscopy, Immuno-Serology, and Drug Testing Services, among others. Radiology and Sonology services are available; the nursing service offers a warm welcome to all clients; the pharmacy offers medicine at affordable and reasonable cost, and the Family Planning clinic for community service.
The resident physicians and other medical doctors of varied areas of specialization have the passion to serve the infirmed and those with physical and bodily diseases. Private clinics are also available for out-patient consultations. The dental clinic is also available.
Counseling services are handled by internationally –recognized registered licensed guidance counselors. Psychological testing is handled by licensed psychometricians.
One of its future facility is five-story building which shall be connected with a bridge to the main hospital building. This new building shall have spacious doctors’ clinics of different areas of specialization to answer to the health needs of the people of Butuan City and the neighboring provinces of the Caraga Region.
